I was recently under the care of Dr Thomas Satyadas at the Alexandra Hospital Cheadle for my hernia repair. I found Mr Satyadas to be exremely courteous and caring. He explained the procedure to me and answered any of my concerns. I was relieved that he was my surgeon and that I was in good hands. Overall I was very pleased with my experience of the hospital and its staff.

After being referred to Mr Satyadas the care I received was second to none. On meeting him I immediately felt relaxed and confident in his care. He provided an thorough and clear explanation for my symptoms and very quickly expedited a plan for surgery. Mr Satyadas is a compassionate man who has an excellent rapport with his patients. I am forever grateful to him

I am a GP myself and i recently underwent complex gallbladder surgery at CMFT. Mr Satyadas was recommended to me by a friend who had worked with him so i knew he would be 'the best'. I had never met him before and when i did i found him to be a very kind, caring, funny and above all professional man. I felt totally safe in his hands and i knew he would look after me. My surgery was more complex then was expected but so he managed to leave me with very minimal scars from laparoscopy and i have made a full recovery. I doubt anyone else would have been able to do what he did laproscopically-he's a genius! I will be forever grateful for his wonderful care.

Never having been in hospital before I was very anxious both at the initial consultation and on admission. Mr Satyadas immediately put me at my ease, he listened to my concerns and I found his manner very reassuring. Surgery was straight forward and, having followed his advice to the letter, I have made a full recovery.

Mr Satyadas performed major surgery on me in August 2018 and this was a complete success. I thought Mr Satyadas clearly explained the procedure and gave me specific and detailed advice (on exercise and diet) to prepare for the operation, in order to minimise the risks and to aid recovery. The follow-up care was excellent, with Mr Satyadas visiting me in hospital every day and telephoning/texting me after I was discharged. In addition, my recovery has been much quicker than I expected, due to the high quality surgery and the advice I followed on how to prepare. (My GP recently noted that Mr Satyadas must be an excellent surgeon, based on how well and quickly I’d recovered from such major surgery.)
